I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. ~Henry David Thoreau, Walden
I stole away tonight to another world where there are no words, no chat. Only sound and simple body language; the sounds of birds, of wind, and galloping hooves. Nature.
Where you begin your life as an innocent fawn with a peaceful face (designed by lina kusaite) and evolve over time into an adult deer if you choose. Where you may be met by forest “elder” deer dressed in elaborate “costumes,” as I was. Where you are known not by a name, but a pictogram.
I earned a beautiful wisteria headdress tonight, and there are spells and magic, and other really cool little surprises that one will find over time. Most of all it is a beautiful place to explore, and just “be.”
I absolutely loved The Endless Forest by Tale of Tales. It was serene and quiet and beautifully contrived… the perfect antidote to such a painful week. I will return.

If you see a fawn (yes, we are all fawns) in a purple headdress with this symbol above her (his) head, that is me. Give me a rub.

The Endless Forest by was created by Auriea Harvey & Michael Samyn. Read more about them here at Tale of Tales. See you in the forest! ;=)
