Well put, Art! You echo my thoughts (or do I echo yours?) exactly.
I can’t account for it either… one moment SL was a fascinating, glittering world full of astonishing potential. The very next it became an odd and strange place, with a cold and almost hostile feel to it.
The worst was watching your dreams shatter and change. I’m still enough of an SL noob that my investment in the *place* wasn’t conditioned by building and creating. What mattered far more was to see how the loss affected you.
So now, a time for reflection and setting new goals. Only time will tell what shape and direction the adventure will take, but I can promise you this:

The reason, however, may always remain a mystery… and though it’s interesting to ponder for awhile, you throw up your hands, and just move beyond it. I’m getting there, and thankfully, the journey is with you. Like kissing a “boo-boo,” you make it all better. ;=)
